I’m an Andrew Harper member. What special offers will I receive?
All members receive benefits at Andrew Harper hotels offering them. Check the Overview tab on each hotel's page to see the member benefits and special offers available at that particular hotel. If you are not booking through our Travel Office, remember to mention your Andrew Harper membership when booking, and present your card at check-in at the hotel to ensure that you receive your member benefits.
We also negotiate special travel packages with our Alliance hotels, which can be seen on the “Special Offers” tab on all participating hotels’ pages. All specially-negotiated Harper member benefits apply over and above the special offers themselves, making these some of the best values in the world of luxury travel — frequently offsetting the annual cost of membership in one trip!
If Andrew Harper travels incognito, how do members receive hotel benefits?
To participate, properties must first receive Andrew Harper’s distinguished recommendation after an anonymous stay. In return for increased exposure to Harper members, these partners agree to provide an added measure of attention and care. Look for benefits from these hotels and partners throughout this website. Benefit details for specific hotels will appear on the Overview tabs of their web pages. Also look for this symbol
when searching.
Many Andrew Harper-recommended hotels, villas, yachts, cruises and destination specialists have chosen to provide special recognition and benefits to Andrew Harper members. From discounted rates to guaranteed upgrades to complimentary breakfasts and more, these benefits are truly meaningful to travelers, resulting in personal, comfortable and memorable experiences.

TRAVEL OFFICE FAQ
How are you different from any other travel agency?
The most significant difference is the insight provided by Andrew Harper into the hideaway hotels and resorts that make us unique. Mr. Harper personally briefs our travel consultants on returning from his travels. After ascertaining your travel preferences, your consultant will draw on extensive expertise, as well as the knowledge of our staff of regional specialists, to create your itinerary. This will ensure that your arrangements reflect firsthand experience of the destination.
Does it cost more when I book through Andrew Harper?
No. This is a complimentary benefit of your membership. There are no additional charges for the use of our services, with the exception of nominal air ticketing fees.
Do I receive the best value when booking through Andrew Harper?
The priority of the Andrew Harper Travel Office is to tailor your travel experience to your exact needs and budget. Our travel consultants have access to specially negotiated Andrew Harper rates and upgrades, as well as to the rates and benefits offered by “platinum card” programs. Your travel consultant will ensure that you get the best available value when you travel.
I need comprehensive travel arrangements. Do you only book hotels?
The Andrew Harper Travel Office is ready to assist you with all aspects of your travel, including hotel, inn, villa, yacht, airline and cruise reservations, as well as custom itineraries, Andrew Harper Signature Tours and ground transportation (rail, car rentals and transfers). Also for your trip, we will take care of concierge services such as restaurant reservations, spa appointments, tee times and more.
I’m only booking a quick two-night stay. Shouldn’t I just call the hotel directly?
The Andrew Harper Travel Office provides members with many insightful suggestions: the best rooms to book; the best restaurants to visit; the most appropriate hotels for romantic getaways or family gatherings. Whether securing you an upgrade, getting you the last available room, or being your advocate to resolve a problem, your travel consultant is there to help. Also, it is important to note that hotels appreciate the efforts of the Travel Office to flag travelers as Andrew Harper members who are entitled to Harper Alliance privileges. If you choose to make your own reservations, you need to ensure that the hotel knows you are an Andrew Harper member and has your member number and expiration date.
GENERAL FAQ
Is there a real Andrew Harper?
Do hotels pay to be included in your recommendations?
No. Hotels or other travel properties (yachts, cruises, etc.) are recommended only after incognito visits by Andrew Harper and subsequent reviews in the monthly Hideaway Report, which accepts no advertising. Once they have been recommended, they have the opportunity to join the Harper Alliance, which provides special rates and amenities to members. Whether a property joins the Alliance does not affect its recommended status. If a property no longer attains the level of excellence required by Mr. Harper, it is dropped from recommendation and hence from the Alliance.
